It's called "the Agitator" and made from an industrial spring, flax & abaca pulp, thread, snake skins, wire, variety of fabrics, laundry basket. This mobile will spin in either direction on its own, but when exhibited last, I invited visitors to give it a gently spin by handling the spring. The shadows created by the shapes are strongly embraced and encouraged by the direct lighting.
